Octacillin is an amoxycillin antibiotic that is safe for drinking water
• Octacillin solutions are stable in soft and hard water
- contains sodium carbonate as a buffer that mantains a solution with pH 8
- contain sodium citrate to prevent precipitation of calcium and magnesium carbonate in hard water at pH 8
• Good absorption and widely tissue distribution
• Less risk of inactivation and reduces the risk of biofilm development
• Optimal balance between solubility and stability
Amoxycillin trihidrat 800 mg/g (equivalent to amoxycillin 697 mg/g)
For the treatment of bacterial infections of gram positive and gram negative
• Swine : 8-16 mg Octacillin per kg body weight per days for 3-5 days
• Chicken : 30 mg Octacillin per kg body weight per days for 3-5 days
